| The activities encompassed under “Validation” will include a dedicated fiber delivery system for the targeted wavelength of 6.45 µm and visualization of the light-tissue interaction for comparative studies and assessment of the soft tissue ablation effect achieved with the several versions of the novel mid-IR laser sources developed within the present project, which differ in their time format and spatial/spectral characteristics. | ||||
